Whiteleaf Training was set up in 2001 by Sarah Seaman.
Sarah is a nurse with 20 years experience of training within the first aid sector. She saw an opportunity to provide a refreshing alternative in a market that was dominated by large companies with centralised call centres offering little customer flexibility.
Sarah also felt that first aid training delivery had become tired and repetitive, lacking in real experience of dealing with medical emergencies. She wanted to inject a little energy, enthusiasm and enjoyment back into the training.
Whiteleaf has been lucky to put together a unique team of instructors . All were selected for their outstanding teaching ability, sense of humour and experience. Many are also registered nurses.
In 2007 Whiteleaf gained full Health and Safety Executive accreditation and was joined by Sarah's husband Robert Seaman. Robert started his working life as a policeman but then moved over to the NHS Ambulance service. He was a Paramedic for 10 years before moving on to Emergency Planning and eventually becoming Director of Operations for the Oxfordshire Ambulance Service. Overall Robert brings over 30 years of expertise responding to emergencies to the Whiteleaf team.
In 2009 Whiteleaf was joined by their new Office Manager, Nicola Edwards who has enabled Whiteleaf to provide even better customer service and support to their customers.
Whiteleaf provides training to numerous individuals, groups and companies and has a strong belief in its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, H.E.A.R.T. Part of which is the policy to provide accessible value-for-money training to the charity and not for profit sector.
The company has Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and all instructors and assessors have the qualifications required by the Health and Safety Executive to carry out their role.
